The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) seeks a vendor to assist in the implementation of the Pyramid Model in IDOE-selected programs through training for program coaches, local coaches, and practitioners (defined below). The Pyramid Model is an adjustable framework that provides tiers of evidencebased practices to address student well-being and behavioral needs of all children in early childhood learning programs. The Pyramid Model includes the provision of high-quality interactional and environmental practices, intentional focus on student well-being, and interventions for children with persistent behavior challenges by promoting student self-management of behaviors and appropriate peer-to-peer interactions with a range of universal to intense interventions according to the needs of the child. The Pyramid Model was developed to address critical challenges in the field of early care and education. The Pyramid Model Consortium created a tiered system permeable to change brought about by new data, emerging trends, gaps in services and unique opportunities. Each state implements the Pyramid Model uniquely to meet its state’s needs and policies; therefore, the vendor for this work must be willing to make revisions to content to be aligned with IDOE policies.
