Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Indianapolis Airport Authority (Authority). The Authority requires the services of a professional, qualified software consultant. The Authority will consider proposals from national, regional and local enterprise software consulting firms that can supply personnel with the training and experience required to conduct an assessment of the Enterprise Resource Planning system of an international airport. It is the intent of the Authority to solicit responses to this RFP in accordance with the statement of work, proposal preparation section, and specifications contained in this document. The guiding principles for the Oracle R12 Upgrade effort at the Authority are as follows: To control the costs associated with the upgrade To realize operational efficiency, where possible To improve access to accurate, usable, and transparent data To realize enhanced functionality, where practical and To achieve greater controls. The Authority views this effort as an opportunity to achieve these goals within a stable, usable, and supported Oracle R12 environment. The Authority wishes to utilize standard EBS R12 functionality to the degree it supports the above goals and/or eliminates customizations within the current environment. Timing for this effort is driven by the pending loss of support from Oracle for its existing 11i environment as of January 1, 2015. The Authority desires to be live and operational with core functions by October 1, 2014 to support this objective.
