Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected firms shall provide construction inspection services for the Vincennes District of INDOT as needs arise on construction contracts. Assignments may also be made to other districts with the consent of the consultant. INDOT anticipates needing Project Engineers/Supervisors and Inspectors during the course of this contract. INDOT may require from personnel winter season work, work for up to twelve (12) hours per day, or work at night. The Consultant's personnel shall work under Area Engineers, Project Engineers, or Project Supervisors provided by INDOT. INDOT will control the hours and staffing of personnel. The consultant shall furnish all construction field testing equipment necessary to sample and test materials in accordance with INDOT procedures, as well as a computer system in accordance with INDOT specification 628.02(c). The consultant shall provide personnel local to the Vincennes District such that lodging expenses will not be incurred for assigned locations within 50 miles of the district office. The Letter of Interest (LOI) must specify the names of the Project Engineers or Project Supervisors who will be supplying the services for each of these contracts. Also, a map showing the locations of these personnel must be provided in the LOI. Personnel identified in the LOI who are not full time employees at the time of LOI submittal shall be identified with explanation of employment status. The LOI must identify the personnel passing all six areas of the Certified Technician Program (CTP), unless the personnel is exempt, prior to being approved to work on any INDOT project. This applies to all personnel who will invoice time to this contract.
