Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is toselect a vendor or vendors that can satisfy the State�s need for comprehensiveinspection and analysis of riverboat casinos to confirm compliance with theStandards; ongoing consultation and/or training for IGCpersonnel to assist the IGC inmaintaining up-to-date and adequate Standards; regularly review and update ofthe IGC�s existing Standards;expertise in structural engineering, fire code(s), building code(s), marinecode(s) (including licensing and manning standards for marine crews), andonsite inspections sufficient to analyze diverse riverboat structures andlocations and to ensure that each is designed, constructed, modified, andmaintained in a manner that is safe for use in the intended docksideenvironment.� It is the intent of the IGC to contract with a vendor or multiple vendorsthat possess the qualifications, expertise, and staffing to provide the IGC with the services contemplated herein.�
