1. Cover all areas below to protect from spillage. 2. Remove grease from interior of hood. 3. Remove grease from hood drip pan and hood rims. 4. Remove grease from fire extinguisher plumbing heads & thermocouples under hood. 5. Scrape or steam grease in stack from hood to fan. 6. Remove grease from lower drip pan or fan. 7. Remove grease from interior and exterior of blower fans. 8. Clean out drip spouts on fan blower so grease may drop into drip pans. 9. Remove grease from fan blades. 10. Remove grease from motor housing with non-conductive electrical cleaner if direct drive. 11. Check motor for worn bearings and worn insulation on conduit. 12. If indirect drive, check motor belts to fan for excessive wear. 13. Seal motor with nonconductive seal to prevent fires. 14. Where applicable, disassemble fan housing on roof during the cleaning procedure. 15. Remove spillage from floor. 15. Report any adverse findings related to the exhaust system to the Physical Plant Director. 17. Replacement or repair of motors, bearings, belts etc. is not a part of this agreement. 18. Provide the Institution with a copy of the report filed with the Indiana State Department of Health which states that the exhaust system has been cleaned. 19. When the cleaning is complete, the company shall place a label on the exterior of the kitchen hood. The label shall include the following: date of cleaning, name of servicing company and any area not cleaned.
