Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.4. Snow Measurement 1.4.1. Contractor shall be prepared for call out at two (2) inches of snow. IFD shall determine the 'Snow Measurement for location as follows: IFD shall obtain snowfall from National Weather Service website (www.weather.gov). 1.4.2. In the event of continuing snowfall, issuance of a Notice to Proceed, or if IFD determines in its sole discretion that the Snow Measurement is inaccurate, IFD IFD – Ice and Snow Removal services Final – April 2023 RFB-15IFD-429 18 reserves the right to update the Snow Measurement by taking additional measurements at stations to be cleared (as defined in 1.13, Location of Services). 1.4.3. If Snow Measurement increases, then the Mobilization Time may be extended to Contractor by IFD either by email or text (and by telephone, if practicable). 1.5. Snow Plowing Instructions 1.5.1. The parking lot shall be cleared of snow from curb to curb where possible. 1.5.2. Contractor shall push snow as far away from the building as possible. 1.5.3. If Contractor is unable to plow from curb to curb due to a portion of lot being obstructed by vehicles, debris, or other objects ("Obstructions"), Contractor shall make its best efforts to clear the area around Obstructions to ensure the largest possible portion of the lot is cleared and passable. 1.5.4. Contractor shall promptly notify IFD of the nature and location of Obstructions by email, text, or by telephone.
