Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Enhance operational effectiveness by making more timely, accurate and complete information available to citizens, the Auditor, Hamilton County Council, and other Hamilton County personnel. • Utilize information technology to improve service to the community. • Increase productivity by eliminating redundancy and unnecessary tasks. • Improve management and public policy decision making by increasing the ability to analyze data. • Allow for continuous upgrades of technology to support current and future core functional needs. • Utilize and manage technology in a cost-effective manner. • Increase operational effectiveness via improved system training. • Enhance internal communications using information technology and improved business processes. • Improve sharing of information between Hamilton County and external agencies. • Continual innovation to encourage implementation of best business practices (i.e. encourage streamlining and automation of standard business transactions, enhanced processing and online capabilities, etc.). • Enhanced features and functionality to support increased automation and operational efficiencies. • Improved reporting • Inclusion of a Time and Attendance system that integrates with Kronos InTouch time clocks. • Establish rules-based payroll and benefit processing. • Segregate reporting by enterprise – must allow for separate chart of accounts and reporting needs. • Track performance and key measurements. • Ability to extract data for the purpose of reporting Open Data to our constituents. • APIs that allow integration with other systems.
