Specifications include, but are not limited to:The purpose of this RFP is to select a vendor or vendors that can satisfy the State’s need for eligibility services in support of DFR’s eligibility determination operation. It is the intent of FSSA to contract with a vendor or vendors that provide eligibility services, local office staff augmentation, and/or training services to fulfill the functional requirements of the eligibility operation. SUMMARY SCOPE OF WORK DFR is the division responsible for establishing eligibility for delivering benefits to clients in Medicaid, Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP), SNAP, TANF, and other assistance programs. The eligibility services contractor(s) is/are a central stakeholder of the eligibility determination operation. Vendor responsibilities include staffing and fulfilling the functions of the Central Change Centers, Regional Change Centers, and Local Offices, end to end processing of program applications and electronic case information, preparation and facilitation of appeals and hearings, and training of key staff. This Scope of Work for this RFP is broken out into three sections: Scope 4.1: Central and Regional Change Center Eligibility Determination Operations; Scope 4.2: Local Office Staff Augmentation; and Scope 4.3: Training Services. DFR requests responses to this RFP from potential contractors experienced in providing quality eligibility services, staff augmentation, and training services for organizations similar in size and scope to DFR. Vendors may respond to one, two, or all three sections of the scope of this RFP.
