- Mowing, inspection, and maintenance of the Landfill cap and associated drainage structures. - Inspection and maintenance of the site security fence. - Monitoring and maintenance of the landfill gas extraction system. - Annual groundwater monitoring, as well as monitoring well inspection and maintenance. - Producing quarterly maintenance reports and an annual groundwater monitoring report. IDEM intends to retain a qualified environmental contractor to provide the above services. The contractor shall become familiar with the Douglas Road Landfill (DRL) Superfund site background, site characterization, remedial action, the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manual, As-Built Drawings, and Quarterly Progress and Annual Performance Reports, as they pertain to OU1 and OU2 of the remedy for IDEM.
