Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project consists of the replacement of (1) low-slope built-up asphalt and gravel roof (BUR) broken up into (1) Base Bid and (1) Alternate roof area for a combined (+/-6,690sqft) in total area. There will be a second Alternate to include additional masonry repairs to proposed roof areas. All work to provide for a complete installation and be carried out in a timely manner according to the Contract Documents. Work will incorporate but is not limited to the following: 1.) 100% tear-off of the existing roof down to metal decking. 2.) Install new tapered insulation to promote proper drainage to existing roof drains. 3.) Install new fully adhered 2-ply modified bitumen roof system. 4.) Some masonry repairs to walls. 5.) Raise existing RTU curbs as called out in drawings and Specifications. 6.) Supply and install new prefinished metal copings that completely cover the existing parapet walls. 7.) Supply and install new tie-off stanchions and walk pads for Christmas displays per drawings and specifications.
