Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project consists of approximately 50,000 GSF of interior buildout of existing shell space within the Indiana University School of Medicine Medical Education and Research Building currently under construction at 16th Street and Senate Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana. The project is primarily the buildout of floors 8, 9, and 10 for interdisciplinary research and lab spaces. Each floor is approximately 12,000 GSF and currently includes core structures such as elevator and stairs, building service rooms, and main mechanical systems including trunk lines. The buildout will include architectural buildout, MEP distribution, and furniture/fixtures/equipment consistent with research lab spaces. The project will also include the buildout of approximately 13,000 GSF of lab support shell space in the lower level of the Medical Education and Research Building. Programming for these lower-level spaces is in progress but it is anticipated that these spaces will incorporate support lab functions, small dry labs, and storage. MEP systems for these spaces are not in place and will be included in this effort. Light architectural impact is anticipated.
