This Project includes the full development of the site and the construction of a new Vehicle Storage building to serve as a Satellite Highway garage for the St. Joseph County Highway Department. The site will include the further development of the site with the new building construction. The existing Alexander Drive and cul-de-sac will remain. The Vehicle Storage Building will be constructed as a pre-engineered metal building to accommodate 14 highway vehicles, including dump trucks, pick-up trucks and other highway support equipment. The approximate 14,300 gross square feet (Base Bid) building is a single-story building and contains a heated vehicle storage area, employee restrooms, and breakroom. New site utilities include new domestic and fire wells and a lift station connecting to the adjacent St. Joseph County Regional Sewer District low pressure force-main system.
