The Department of Public Works, Village of Wauconda, 302 Slocum Lake Rd., Wauconda, IL 60084, is seeking proposals from qualified Environmental Consultant teams for development of a Lake conservation/Management plan for Bangs Lake, as outlined herein. The intent is for the Environmental Consultant to provide research and evaluation services to prepare a comprehensive lake management/conservation plan for Bangs Lake, located in the Village of Wauconda, IL.
The benefits of investing in a Lake Management Plan are profound. Being able to project future costs, anticipate problems, and develop a long-term sustainable management plan will not only ultimately save the Village money, but will result in a healthier and more productive aquatic system.
