Project Improvement Overview:
The Project includes tree and stump removal, site grading, minor storm sewer, and landscape restoration work on Village owned properties in four locations (see below) with recently demolished buildings. Work includes site shaping and grading along with minor storm sewer work to establish positive drainage. All disturbed areas will be restored with topsoil, seeding, fertilizer, and mulching in accordance with the Plans.

Sealed proposals for the improvement described below will be received at the office of the Village Hall, 4455 Sauk Trail, Richton Park, IL 60471 until 9:00 A.M., Tuesday September 30, 2025. Proposals will be opened and read publicly at 9:00 A.M., Tuesday Sept 30, 2025, at the office of the Village Hall, 4455 Sauk Trail, Richton Park, IL 60471.
Plans and proposal forms will be available electronically only from HR Green, Inc. by contacting project architect Kelly Andrews at kandrews@hrgreen.com (815)320-7120.
- Contractors shall provide a “Statement of Experience” as proof of qualifications with Bid Package submittal. The Village of Richton Park reserves the right to only issue Bid Documents to Contractors who are regarded as qualified.
- All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as provided in the bidding documents.
- Bidder Questions shall be provided in writing via email to HR Green by 5PM Tuesday Sept. 2, 2025. Questions will be addressed by project architect in writing via email to all bid document holders by 5pm Wed., Sept. 5, 2025.
- The Awarding Authority (Owner) reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
- Submission of a bid shall be conclusive assurance and warranty the bidder has examined the bid documents and understands all requirements for the performance of work. The bidder will be responsible for all errors in the proposal resulting from failure or neglect to conduct an in-depth examination. The Awarding Authority (Owner) will in no case be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses or changes in anticipated profits resulting from such failure or neglect of the bidder.
