The Village of Richton Park, Illinois, is requesting qualification statements from environmental consultants to assist with the management and implementation of a $400,000 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields Community-Wide Assessment Grant, of which $397,500 is programmed specifically for contractual services.
Project Overview: Brownfields are defined as a property, of which the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant.
Grant funds will be used for satisfying programmatic grant requirements, conducting community involvement activities, completing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, and developing cleanup alternative reports.
