The estimating Contractor will be responsible for providing estimating services for CDA's various projects (on an as-needed basis as referenced above). The services to be provided by the Contractor will be related to and used in association with projects in planning, projects in design and proposed and current construction projects. These projects will require cost estimating services to ensure they are accurately estimated, budgeted and funded. Contractor will be required to produce independent cost estimates that are objective, conceptual and detailed for use by CDA for determining budgets and budget compliance. Contractor will be required to evaluate, negotiate and resolve cost estimating requests, change orders and claims made by contractors. The work processes and methodologies shall be developed and implemented with due consideration to the CDA's policies and project delivery schedules. CDA utilizes a Project Management Information System (“PMIS”) and information will be transferred by all parties with access via this system.
