Specifications include, but are not limited to: Snow shall be removed when snow accumulation reaches two (2) inches or more or when drifting or hazardous conditions warrant the Agency to request services. All driveways, parking areas, building entries, ramps and sidewalks shall be cleared. Snow shall be piled in the most remote area of lot or as designated by facility manager. Some locations may require that snow be removed from the premises the same day. Contractor shall respond within two (2) hours of notification for any additional service, day or night. Contractor must have a working cell phone number which must be submitted to Facility Manager. The cell phone must have a range sufficiently wide to make it possible to reach the Contractor during the day or evening. Contractor shall make efforts to have all areas cleared of snow by 7:00 A.M., Monday through Friday. Salt or ice melt shall be applied to sidewalk and entrances as directed by the Facility Manager, as a precautionary measure against ice buildup. Salt applied to parking lots as directed by the Facility Manager.
