The selected contractor shall be responsible for the complete removal and relocation of the existing diesel-powered generator and the installation of a new natural gas-powered generator at the Oak Forest Police Department and 911 Emergency Communication Center. The scope includes all necessary labor, equipment, materials, permits, and coordination with utility providers. Work shall include site preparation, electrical and mechanical connections, integration with existing transfer switchgears (2), testing, commissioning, and training of City personnel. The contractor must ensure minimal disruption to ongoing emergency operations and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal codes and environmental regulations.
