Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work for this project includes an initial consultation/assessment of Village needs as it relates to racial equity, The selected Service Provider will conduct analysis in partnership with the Village to understand employee attitudes, conditions, and experiences as they relate to Racial Equity. This information will then be used by the selected Service Provider to make a recommendation to develop a Racial Equity Training Plan and develop an implementation strategy for any recommended plan. At minimum, the Village believes such a plan should include common language, frameworks and tools for Village staff to build upon in the future. The Village has approximately 365 employees including police, fire, public works and other customer service related staff, who will participate in this training. The Village would seek recommendations from the Service Provider as to the best way to conduct training for all employees in a way that is most impactful for various employees and employee groups. The Village understands that a single training is not transformative and would like to hear from the Service Provider about ongoing progress monitoring of Racial Equity Plan and additional training and support as it relates to racial equity. This support could include differentiated Racial Equity training for Village leadership, Human Resources team members, Hiring Managers, and others as directed.
