Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Illinois Tollway is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to develop and implement a Job Order Contracting (JOC) Program. The selected JOC Administrator will (in addition to various other work stated herein): create customized JOC Program execution procedures and reports for the Tollway; prepare a Unit Price Book and Technical Specifications for bidding, provide marketing support for the JOC Program; at the Tollway’s request, assist the Tollway with the procurement of JOC Contractors through an Invitation for Bid (IFB); provide a customized JOC Management Software package/database; provide training for Tollway staff and JOC Contractors on the JOC system and assist in the mobilization of the JOC system; and provide post-implementation technical support. Firms shall incorporate sustainability and environmentally friendly business practices into their daily work. The main objective of the JOC Program will be to enable the Illinois Tollway to rapidly engage Contractors to perform necessary services such as minor construction, renovations, repairs, and alterations.
