Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● System ○ Valcom IP6000 series headend unit ○ Preference of analog for speakers ○ Each hallway must be independently programmable to allow for different bell schedules in buildings with different grade levels - See Hallway Zoning drawing ● Classrooms ○ Lay-in talkback speaker suitable for use in classrooms with drop-ceilings ○ Vandal resistant talkback speaker or 8-inch round for classrooms without drop-ceiling ○ Wall mounted call buttons with braille for accessibility, mounted per ADA requirements ● Offices/Conference Rooms ○ Ceiling mounted one-way speaker ○ Wall mounted volume control knobs ● Hallways ○ 1-Way lay-in paging speakers as appropriate to provide adequate coverage ○ Hallways must be cabled/programmed in such a way that they are able to be put on independent schedules, see Hallway Zoning drawing for breakdown ● Outdoor Spaces and Gymnasiums ○ Caged or vandal resistant one-way horns with specifications as appropriate for the space ○ Exterior of building and courtyard may be treated as a single zone ● Door Phones ○ SIP Door Plate Talkback speaker with button ■ V-1072B-ST or equivalent ■ Capability to be programmed to allow for door lock release
