Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall furnish all labor, material/parts, service, training and upgrades necessary to install cable/satellite television programming. Any structures needed to house external equipment shall be provided by the Vendor including heat and air conditioning if necessary. All work to be performed in accordance with industry standards, local codes and approved specifications. The vendor shall install equipment necessary to provide television service to Illinois Veterans’ Home Chicago as follows: Vendor shall provide cable/satellite service from the street or on site to the building. Vendor shall tap into the cable in the Telecom Room to send TV Channels over cable to the Illinois Veterans’ Home Chicago units. Vendor will ensure the equipment is installed and cable lines going out from main building provide a cable signal as well as the institutions signal. Vendor may utilize amplifiers already installed in the facility housing units if desired. Vendor shall ensure each resident room and common area television is capable of providing clear signal for up to 240 drops utilizing coax cable from the wall tap to the television. The Vendor shall provide all equipment as well as any repair and/or maintenance (including parts) at no additional charge into the building from the street. The ownership of all parts of the system provided by the Vendor including but not limited to all cables, wires, equipment and devices located outside the physical perimeter of the facility up to the Audio/Video Building will remain the property of the Vendor. All equipment and cabling located within the physical perimeter of the facility and emanating from the facility will become the property of the facility.
