Description

Specifications include, but are not limited to: Purchasing one (1) new high speed camera with nanosecond shutter speed. 5.2.1.1 The camera must obtain at least four (4) images at 1 billion fps (frames per second). 5.2.1.2 The camera must have a minimum exposure time at full sensitivity of 3 ns (nanoseconds) or less. 5.2.1.3 The camera must have a spatial resolution (modulation transfer function) of at least 50 lp/mm (line pair per millimeter). 5.2.1.4 It must have the ability to control the camera using an Ethernet interface. 5.2.1.5. 18 mm diameter photocathode preferred 5.2.1.6. Photocathode sensitivity S25 or equivalent (quantum efficiency between 10 and 20% in the 450 to 800 nanometer range). 5.2.1.7. Intensifier phosphor slower and more sensitive (e.g. P43 rather than P46). 5.2.1.8 The input light should be divided among the four cameras so that each camera receives no less than 20% of the light intensity. 5.2.1.9 Optical coupling from input intensifier should be free space rather than fiberoptic bundle due to intensity and image degradation considerations.
