The Agency will accept proposals from firms, corporations, partnerships, and individuals who are interested in submitting their qualifications as a prospective Vendor for the demolition, redevelopment and operation of the Eagle Creek Resort (hereinafter “Resort”) which currently includes, but is not limited to: a hotel which includes 138 guest rooms, a lobby, indoor pool complex, kitchen and dining facilities, lounge, conference center, gift shop, pro shop, 18 hole mini-golf course, outdoor pool with 11,000 sq. ft. of deck, 18 hole golf course and the Eagle’s Landing which houses eight connecting guest rooms and a small conference room in Findlay, Illinois. The Agency is seeking a professional operator for this facility to ensure a high quality level of operation and service to the public. Offerors must demonstrate, through written proposal and oral presentation, an unquestionable capability to invest in and successfully demolish, redevelop and operate the Resort complex at its optimum potential. Upon completion of demolition, the Agency envisions a redevelopment of a smaller scale resort facility consisting of any of the following possibilities: a Restaurant/ Golf Pro Shop combination with a private room for parties or meetings to accommodate up to 30 people and cabins instead of a large-scale hotel, however the Agency will entertain any reasonable proposals submitted.
