Specifications include, but are not limited to: Chicago State University Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is 24 hours or less to restore all systems. The university’s mission‐critical systems, applications and services outlined below are imperative to the university’s continuous operation. CSU is seeking the support of a DRP that provides off‐site facility, mobility and reduplication to host hardware and applications while providing telecommunications service, and workstations to support staff in the event of a disaster (natural, fire, power outage, cooling system outage, network outage, and other devastating events which require the university to relocate its data center for some period of time (unrecoverable service). In addition, the vendor should demonstrate its ability to meet CSU’s RTO and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) on its critical systems/applications. CSU seeks the ability to conduct an annual simulation of the disaster recovery plan. It is expected that the Disaster Recovery Provider (DRP) will provide a detailed report that analyzes the test plan results. Itemized cost and services offered by the vendor shall be included in the proposal.
