Specifications include, but are not limited to: Replacement wood; provide all new preservative-treated lumber as required to reconstruct the complete north porch wood assemblies. Unless otherwise noted: All new wood material to include but not be limited to framing, support columns, posts, bracing, trims, porch floor and skirt boards, stair; treads, risers, stringers and beaded- board panels, railings, newel and corner post, balustrade; posts, caps, rails, balusters and all trim profiles. All new wood support members: Douglas fir. All new cladding and fascia members: Douglas fir #2 or better APG. Preservative treatment levels as per AWPA; Category UC4a, specified for materials in contract with ground, Category UC3b specified for materials above ground. All new wood finish, trim component scheduled for applied finish coatings to be KDAT, kiln-dried lumber after treatment, to a maximum 19% moisture content. Lumber to be marked with treatment quality of inspection and approved by ALSC Board of Approval.
