The vendor shall provide skilled labor to provide Plumbing & Refrigeration services at Alton Mental Health Center. Vendor’s employees shall be in good physical health and perform services with professionalism and competency. All labor will be completed by skilled journeyman tradesmen in accordance with all National, State, County, or Municipal building codes and safety regulations.
All work performed shall be during normal working hours which are Monday through Friday (except State holidays), between the hours of 8:00a.m. and 4:30p.m. The Contract Monitor, or designee, shall schedule Vendor’s work so that work can be completed with minimal interference to employees and patients of AMHC. Work may be performed outside of the normal working hours only if approved by the Contract Monitor or designee. The approval of working outside normal working hours does not automatically approve Overtime or Sunday/Holiday rates. Overtime or Sunday/Holiday billing rates will only be used in emergency situations or if pre-approved by the facility to better accommodate patient needs or limit patient disruptions.
The Vendor shall furnish regular and emergency numbers to AMHC to use during the contract. The Vendor response time will be within two (2) hours of notification for services at the discretion of the Contract Monitor or designee.
