Specifications include, but are not limited to: Under this Contract, it is generally expected that the level of A/E services and design, if any, will be incidental to the Contract and therefore included in the Contractor’s Adjustment Factors. b. The Contractor will be required, as on any construction project, to provide shop drawings, as-built drawings, project layout drawings and sketches as required and the cost of those items shall be included in the Contractor’s Adjustment Factors. c. Approval by the City of plans and drawings prepared by the Contractor does not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility of performing the work according to applicable codes, laws, and ordinances. Comments on or approvals given to any plans, drawings, schedules, or means and methods shall not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility of performing the work to achieve the objectives of the Job Order. d. Unless the Contractor receives prior approval from the City, the Contractor is not to be the “lead” firm for A/E design work.
