Specifications include, but are not limited to: Collection of bagged and bundled yard waste from City of Champaign residential properties. Collections will consist of an eight-week Fall Leaf Collection period, a two-week Christmas Tree Collection, and a four-week Spring Yard Waste Collection as described in the Technical Specifications. 1. Fall Leaf Collection. The fall leaf collection will consist of an eight-week collection period. The City will be divided into two zones, an Orange Zone and a Blue Zone. Each zone will be subdivided into five daily collection areas as shown on the attached map, Attachment A. Each of the two zones will be collected on a bi-weekly alternate schedule, with each of the five daily collection areas collected during the appropriate collection period. 2. Christmas Tree Collection. Natural Christmas trees will be collected for two weeks following the Christmas season, as stated below. Trees placed at the curb will be collected as long as they do not have foreign objects attached. This two-week collection will include collection of both the Orange and Blue designated zones during the same week. Each zone will be collected for two consecutive weeks. 3. Spring Yard Waste Collection. The same alternating Orange Zone/Blue Zone fall collection schedule will be maintained.
