The City is requesting an RFP from qualified contractors for the replacement of the rooftop unit at the City of West Chicago Water Treatment Plant located at 1400 W. Hawthorne Lane, West Chicago, Illinois 60185. The scope of the RTU replacement shall generally include the removal of the two (2) existing 25-Ton units, installation of the two (2) proposed 30-Ton units, and making necessary connections and adjustments to ensure proper operation. Furthermore, the work may involve electrical and mechanical components such as modifications or installation of the curb adapter, electrical connections, mechanical connections, gas piping, controls integration, minor ductwork, testing and commissioning of the proposed RTUs, and other miscellaneous items as required to complete the project.
