Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, supplies and transportation necessary for removal of food waste for composting. Contractor will be required to provide containers, bins, compactors or other receptacles. These will be used for the deposit of food waste compostable to be transported to an approved in-vessel composting facility in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract. Compostable will include but not be limited to, produce, floral, bakery, dairy/deli/seafood, grocery, frozen food, table scraps, pasta, bread, grains, fruits, vegetables, and soiled paper. To the best of the School District’s ability, culinary food waste shall be free of plastic, coffee grounds and other foreign material. The Contractor shall not hold the School District liable for any damages or losses caused by the food wastes for any reuse product.
