installation of approximately 1,415 LF of 8” and 6” dia. ductile iron watermain and appurtenances, 520 LF of 1” copper water service, 880 LF of storm sewer improvements, 9 storm structures, 350 LF of 6” sanitary sewer service replacement, 1,277 LF of roadway improvements which includes 3,700 SY of asphalt paving, 2,200 LF of concrete curb & gutter, 1,900 SF of concrete sidewalk and 900 SY of rain garden bioretention areas within Village right-of-way meeting MWRD design standards. Work on the 9 separate rain garden areas includes approximately 900 CY earth excavation, 550 LF underdrain, and 800 native plants. The work on Pacific Ave is limited to 2 rain garden bioretention areas. The project also includes lead water service replacement which involves the removal and replacement of approximately 6 lead domestic water services, from the property line to the existing residence, with approximately 155 LF of 1" diameter type K copper tubing. The replacement of these services will also include interior residence restoration and asbestos abatement, if found.
