Specifications include, but are not limited to: NOTICE TO BIDDERS The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites sealed bids for various improvements to Rotary Park in the City of Galesburg. The City has received a grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to complete numerous improvements to the park. Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m., local time, October 22, 2014, at the office of the Purchasing Agent located in City Hall, 55 West Tompkins Street, Galesburg, IL 61401 and at that time, publicly opened and read aloud in the Basement Conference Room, located in City Hall. Bid documents are available at the office of the Purchasing Agent, 55 W. Tompkins St., Galesburg, IL 61401 or on the City website www.ci.galesburg.il.us under the "Doing Business" tab. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. The submission of the bid by the offeror in response to this Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgement of and an agreement by the Offeror that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570). Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations.
