Specifications include, but are not limited to: For each item below provide detail supporting your firm s ability to meet theserequirements.3.1The proposer shall perform unarmed security services at identifiedlocations and patrol routes as requested by the University. Services are toassist the Illinois State University Police Department by conducting footpatrols of the Illinois State University campus and performing other duties asspecified:Security checks of campus buildings.Lock and unlock campus buildings at designated times.Assist faculty and staff with access to buildings after hours.Report suspicious activity to the Illinois State University PoliceDepartment. Only the Illinois State University Police Department maymake arrests of violators.Provide information to the Illinois State University Police Department onpatrol routes made by each security officer on a daily basis. Illinois StateUniversity currently has a system in place to report on the manipulationof doors on campus. Vendor needs to address their method of monitoringpatrol routes if a different method is desired.Unarmed Officers do not restrain, they are to call University Police or911 to the scene.Complete incident reports on any suspicious activity or behaviors3.2Officers must report for each work shift on time and remain on the premisesuntil properly relieved. The Service Provider will be financially responsiblefor any overtime costs associated with this compliance.3.3The proposer is responsible for any and all damages to ISU property causedby the contractor s personnel or equipment. The proposer shall advise theIllinois State University Police of all damages immediately, either bytelephone or orally and shall follow up with a written report within 24 hours
