The Village of Cary estimates approximately 30 trees need to be fully removed, including stump grinding, that were storm damaged. An estimated 25 stumps need to be removed where trees were lost due to storm damage. These quantities are estimates and final payment will be based on verified removals approved and performed by the contractor. The Contractor is responsible for calling in J.U.L.I.E. locates prior to tree and/or stump removal. Each tree removal and stump grinding location shall be fully restored with grass seed and straw mat. The Contractor is responsible for watering the grass restoration areas until new grass growth is fully established. The stump location shall be ground down deep enough to place dirt and grow grass and shall be graded evenly with the surrounding area.
