The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) seeks an Offeror to provide training annually to no more than 25 potential hearing officers each year who may preside over the dismissal hearings of teachers in contractual continued service. Under the oversight of the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), the Offeror shall prepare a training program for potential hearing officers who may preside over dismissal hearings of tenured teachers throughout the State of Illinois and principals employed by the Chicago Board of Education. The training must be ready for presentation on or before June 30, 2026, and each subsequent June 30 during the term of the contract. The selected Offeror will have the following responsibilities during the term of the contract: 1. Develop and provide a training program for the potential hearing officers. 2. Develop and execute a plan to address updates and effectiveness of the training program. 3. Develop and execute a plan to present the training program and provide ongoing technical assistance. 4. Develop and execute a plan to certify training completion. 5. Develop and execute a plan for an assessment report. 6. Work with ISBE on the development of the training program and related plans, and submit the training program and all plans to ISBE for final approval prior to the delivery of the training.
