Specifications include, but are not limited to: : To utilize the knowledge and expertise of the Vendor, that is lacking in the Procuring Agency's staff, to obtainsupplies and services necessary to help meet the statutory responsibilities of the Procuring Agency.The Illinois Department of Transportation seeks to contract with a vendor for a Business Analyst. The contractual resourceis to supplement permanent staff and perform assignments in computer systems development and/or provide systemmodifications.Objectives/Deliverables:1. Provide analysis of Agency business requirements with an emphasis on Traffic Safety projects related tocrash/accident systems and imaging/document management systems.2. Prepare use cases, cost/benefit analysis, gap analysis.3. Prepare documentation for new and updated system functionality including, but not limited to, instruction manuals, on-line help, training materials, system and application flow diagrams.4. Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring and training of State of Illinois staff.5. Work with Traffic Safety staff in writing annual NHTSA 408/409 grant applications under the Federal Safety-LU grantprogram for crash related projects
