Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University seeks to change the information technology path from an aging infrastructure to an open architecture that supports a more self-service vision and keeps IT current for the foreseeable future. A 3-5 year strategic plan has been drafted outlining a clear path for these administrative technologies that includes addressing transitioning from an aging infrastructure, to designing the new enterprise architecture, tackling the next ERP modules and building the right-size integrated business intelligence environment. In order for these goals to be implemented within the specified timeframe, the University will occasionally need to augment our current information technology staff with expert technical consultants who will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation phases of the projects. By identifying a potential pool of expertise in advance, we expect to be able to quickly identify the resources needed and engage those for our specific timeframes.
