Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University seeks to change the information technology path from an aginginfrastructure to an open architecture that supports a more self-service vision and keepsIT current for the foreseeable future. A 3-5 year strategic plan has been drafted outlininga clear path for these administrative technologies that includes addressing transitioningfrom an aging infrastructure, to designing the new enterprise architecture, tackling thenext ERP modules and building the right-size integrated business intelligenceenvironment.In order for these goals to be implemented within the specified timeframe, the Universitywill occasionally need to augment our current information technology staff with experttechnical consultants who will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation phasesof the projects. By identifying a potential pool of expertise in advance, we expect to beable to quickly identify the resources needed and engage those for our specifictimeframes.
