Specifications include, but are not limited to: SPECIFICATIONS Bidders are to furnish and deliver treated bulk street rock salt on an "as needed" basis to the locations listed below. The Bid Price is to include all costs for treating the bulk rock street salt with Liquid Magnesium Chloride and all the costs for delivering the treated salt. The right to observe any or all applications is reserved by the District. Any shipment where it is apparent that this treatment is not acceptable will be rejected. Furthermore, the District reserves the right to hold payment for salt already delivered that has caked, or solidified to the point where it cannot be loaded and spread by District vehicles. In this eventuality, the successful bidder will be responsible for correcting the situation at the District site. Deliveries will be made throughout the season to the designated locations and dumped in the salt bins at those locations. (Each bin holds an estimated 45 tons). The bid prices are to remain firm through March 31, 2016. Our estimated needs for this period are 1500 tons, however, more or less may actually be ordered depending on the severity of the weather
