The VACMC intends to retain a qualified and committed professional firm or individuals experienced in strategic plan guidance to provide consultant services for a VACMC Five Year Plan. The VACMC intends to integrate feedback from strategic planning sessions, focused staff discussions, Local Military Service Organization discussions, and Local Military Service Organization surveys. Discussions are to be scheduled in the early summer of 2025. Input from survey responses will be available for consultant to utilize as he/she sees fit. Prospective firms will discuss their approach to developing a strategic planning process. The proposal will incorporate the project scope and the process for defining goals with measurable outcomes, attainable objectives and action steps. Prospective firms are encouraged to expand upon the proposed project scope and recommend additional value-based services as part of the approach while also being cognizant of costs. Prior to entering into a formal agreement, the selected firm will meet with VACMC staff and Commission Members to define responsibilities, number of sessions, interviews with Commission Members, project timeline and deliverables.
