A. General: The intent of this project is to remove and replace the existing stormwater inlet on the bluff side of the road at 4529 Grand View Drive. B. Schedule: Work must be completed by November 30, 2025. Award is intended for August 14, 2025. C. Materials: 1. Precast concrete inlet: City of Peoria G1 2. Frame and Grate: Neenah R-3246A with Type ‘R’ (diagonal) grate. 3. Concrete: 4,000 psi air entrained. 4. Flowable Fill (CLSM): 30 psi mix. D. Execution: 1. Verify all elevations and measurements before ordering precast elements. 2. Call JULIE before you dig! 3. Place traffic control as needed. No open excavations may be left when contractor is not on site. Excavations must be covered, and fencing maintained. 4. Sawcut pavement and curbing at removal limits. 5. Excavate and remove existing inlet and pavement. 6. Place new precast inlet and frame and grate to level and slopes noted in details. Grout or mortar existing outlet and inlet pipes. 7. Backfill and compact. Utilize flowable fill for backfill under pavement. 8. Form and place concrete curbing, gutter pan, and inlet apron. 9. Place HMA patching and compact. 10. Clean soil, refuse, and debris from pavement before removing traffic control.
