The following specifications cover the electrical and mechanical characteristics of a substation distribution power transformer. The base bid is for North America manufacturing of the transformer with an entire stainless steel tank. The alternate bid is for North America manufacturing of the transformer with a mild steel tank and only a stainless steel top. Big Coppitt Substation Distribution Transformer The replacement for the Big Coppitt Substation (BCS) Transformer shall be a class ONAN/ONAF/ONAF, outdoor, 60-Hz, two winding, three phase, delta-wye connected, oil-filled, nitrogen blanket transformer. The entire equipment shall be of sturdy construction throughout, suitable for a tropical environment and shall include all items necessary for a complete assembly. The vendor shall confirm transformer dimensions and clearances with other existing equipment prior to manufacture.
