Description:
The USPFO for Illinois National Guard, 182nd Airlift Wing, Peoria, IL is seeking information from potential sources, including Small Businesses, capable of providing preventative maintenance and repair services for a breathing air system. This is a sources sought notice for market research purposes only and is not a solicitation for proposals.
Scope of Work:
The contractor will provide preventative maintenance and repair services for the following equipment:
- SPXFlow CBA95 Breathing Air Purifier (s/n: 1000003899802): Services shall include fulfilling manufacturer-recommended periodic maintenance requirements at 4,000 hours (NTE 9 months), 8,000 hours (NTE 18 months), and 16,000 hours (NTE 3 years).
- 15HP Champion Oil-less Air Compressor 25TD15WTS55 (s/n: D229828): Services shall include fulfilling manufacturer-recommended periodic maintenance requirements at 10,000 hours and 20,000 hours, not to exceed three years from the date of last accomplishment.
- Unscheduled Repairs: The contractor will also address any unexpected maintenance or repair needs for both systems identified by the end-user or the contractor.
Background:
Both the breathing air compressor and purifier were installed in July 2022 and are currently up to date on maintenance. This contract will ensure continued preventative maintenance and address any unscheduled repairs.
Submission Instructions:
Interested prime contractors should submit a response no later than 13 May 2025 via email to the points of contact listed above. No fax responses will be accepted. Your response should not exceed five pages and must include the following:
- Statement of Intent: A positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor.
- Completed Form: A completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (posted with this announcement on SAM.gov).
- Relevant Experience: A list of similar projects completed within the past three years, including government and private sector work. For each project, provide:
- Project name
- Project type
- Dollar value
- Contract number
- Location
- Point of contact
- Your role (prime or subcontractor). If subcontractor, provide the prime contractor's name and point of contact.
- Resources and Personnel: A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be utilized to perform the contract.
Note: If an adequate number of Small Business responses are not received, the subsequent solicitation may be advertised as unrestricted.
