This is a notice of intent to award a contract as a sole source to FIALAB for FIALYZER-2000-2-channel flow injection analyzer. See attached details. The hearing will be cancelled unless an interested party submits written comments or makes a written request for public hearing by Friday June 06, 2025 to the info contact above. The laboratory needs to purchase full-array spectometers. The instrument will allow us to analyze ammonia, TKN, cyanide, phenol, alkalinity and nitrate/nitrite. All of these test parameters are necessary to meet the Bureau of Water initiatives for the Clean Water Act. The current instruments are not serviceable (end of life). This type of analyzer is not found in any other flow injection analyzers. The instruments from FIALab will enable the laboratory to analyze Ammonia, Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen, Cyanide, Phenol, Alkalinity and Nitrate/Nitrite. These analyses are required to support the Bureau of Water initiatives for the Clean Water Act. FIALab has full-array spectrometer for flow injection that is patented to FIA100 for ammonia and TKN analyses. They also have a 10 cm flow cell that is patented to FIAlab. FIALab is the proprietary provider for full-array spectrometers . The instrument will allow us to analyze ammonia, TKN, cyanide, phenol, alkalinity and nitrate/nitrite. All of these test parameters are necessary to meet the Bureau of Water initiatives for the Clean Water Act.
