Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Agency is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide the following services: 2.1 NOTE: The Contractor will not be allowed to place the ensuing debris in the Agency’s community dumpsters. 2.2 Ensuing Debris. The Contractor shall, as detailed herein, remove all ensuing debris from the Agency property daily. 2.2.1 Damage to Agency or Resident Property. Any damage any property (Agency- or tenant-owned) caused by plowing or other services performed by the Contractor, will be the Contractor’s sole responsibility and expense to repair in a timely manner. 2.2.2 Relationship of “Out of Season” services to, Snow Removal Services. Please remember, during weeks that snow may “stick on the ground,” thereby causing the Agency to order Snow Removal Services to be performed, the Agency may not, and probably will not, direct the contractor to perform these “Out of Season” services to be performed during that time period. 2.3 Snow Removal Services. (NOTE: Herein, whenever the Agency refers to “as directed,” unless otherwise stated, such reference shall be the “Agency Contact Person,” or the person assigned by the Agency to oversee the ensuing contract awarded.) 2.3.1 Plowing. Work will include, but is not limited to, plowing snow from the parking lots. Salt shall be applied to all parking areas immediately after snow removal. Services, to include all equipment and labor to plow parking lots when snow depth reaches 1 inch. During a storm, all parking lot entrances will be reasonably clear, allowing access for emergency vehicles and/or residents. Lots must not have any tire ruts or any other snow or ice hazard that would not normally be found in a “cleared” lot. Lots shall be plowed so that pavement is bare. Snow will be “pushed” into areas agreed upon by the Agency and the Contractor. These locations will be such that the snow does not impede on the flow of traffic, prohibit access to utilities or services, nor will it prohibit or create unsafe access to resident’s apartment.
