Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.3.1. Snow plowing and salt applications include all paved areas identified on the provided maps. 3.3.1.1. These areas include, but are not limited to: driveways, parking lots, playgrounds, loading zones and adjacent sidewalks, and perimeter sidewalks. 3.3.2. The maps provided in the bid documents are intended as specific directions on “how to” and “where” to push snow. They are to be regarded as expectations, not suggestions. 3.3.2.1. Copies of these maps are to be in all snow removal vehicles to ensure that all areas are plowed correctly and completely. 3.3.2.2. The successful bidder will be provided with 5 (five) hard copies of the map-sets as well as the PDF files to facilitate the printing of additional copies. 3.3.3. All driveways, parking lots, playground and sidewalks must have salt/ice melt applied. (See section 3.5 Salt for details.) 3.3.3.1. Anti‐icing or other technology may be included in proposal if offered. 3.3.4. In addition to regular snow events, the contractor is responsible for salting (and scraping if necessary) ice buildup. Ice may be caused by, but is not limited to, the following: freezing rain, freeze/thaw, freezing fog.
