Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Snow plowing includes driveways, parking lots, sidewalks and playground - all asphalt surfaces. Snow Plowing is to occur when snowfall is one (1) inch of snow or more to reduce icy conditions. Salting is to occur when snowfall is less than one (1) inch. Or in either case when notified by a designee of the Operations Department. The contractor is expected to minimize the number of pushes used and to perform the snow removal as efficiently as possible. The cost for snow removal PER PUSH is defined as completely plowing the entire property of all snow. It is the responsibility of the contractor to contact a designee of the Operations Department after each snow removal occurrence with the total number of pushes. This is critical in order to reconcile services to assure invoices are paid in a timely and efficient manner.
