Snow Removal and De-Icing Services at HACC’S OWNED / MANAGED SITES - (PARKING LOTS ONLY) This scope of services covers the requirements for a Contractor to provide snow removal and deicing services for HACC’s owned and managed sites (Parking Lots Only). The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and transportation essential for the removal of all snow and ice from the listed seventeen (17) HACC’s Developments. Snow and ice removal shall be performed in parking lots areas only by the request of the Authorized Site Representative (ASR). The Contractor is to remove all snow and/ or ice from the parking lots and adjacent driveways (All snow must be removed from the entire parking lot. At no point should the contractor plow snow into the back of parked vehicles, pile snow into parking spaces that are face to face or pile snow in any areas within the HACC property without the approval of the ASR). The square footages listed for each location are estimates. It is the Contractor’s responsibility is to familiarize himself with the area of each property’s layout and dimensions as well as accessibility, prior to submitting a bid. By submitting a bid for these services, the Contractor is deemed to have appropriately assessed each property. No allowances will be granted for conditions which should have been reasonably anticipated by thoroughly examining the site prior to bidding. After the contract award, the Contractor will be required to meet with an authorized representative of HACC to review the sites and areas designated for services. The HACC is also asking for pricing for removing the snow for between the cars and pricing for shoveling and de-icing the sidewalk/walkways at all of the sites. Estimated quantities for these areas are provided. At family sites (Richard Flowers Homes, Vera Yates Homes and Sunrise/Bergan Apartments), the front & rear of the tenant’s units, must be shoveled and salted.
