Specifications include, but are not limited to: STEEL BLADES (For 10-ft Plows) All blades to be thick by 8 wide, no exception. Alternate thicknesses of blades will not be accepted. All blades to have industry standard AASHO hole spacing. All blades to be Carbon Steel, 300-320 Brinell Hardness. Blades shall have 0.84 grade carbon rating. All mounting holes shall be counter sunk for true plow bolts. Blades shall be 60 in length. CARBIDE BLADES All carbide blades shall be 7/8 thick by 5 wide, no exception. All carbide blades shall be 60 long. All carbide blades shall be AASHO punched and counter sunk. Carbide insert shall be high shock virgin tungsten carbide, WC grade. Carbide shall have 11 12.5% cobalt content. Manufactures specifications shall be provided for virgin carbide quality. CURB GUARDS All guards shall be wrap around style with reversible hole punches. Guard construction shall be the same as the steel blades. Guards shall be 8 wide by 3/4 thick.
